About the Alabama Democratic Conference
The Morgan County Chapter of the Democratic Conference is a vital organization committed to advancing African American representation and progressive causes in Morgan County. Our goals are rooted in a rich tradition of advocacy and empowerment, aligned with the broader mission of the Alabama Democratic Conference (ADC).

Our Mission
Our mission is to elevate Black voices and place more African Americans in elected positions so they can have a larger impact on their communities. By focusing on increasing African American representation in local and state leadership roles, we aim to drive meaningful change and create a more equitable society.
We are proud to be an affiliate of the Alabama Democratic Conference (ADC), an organization led by Chairman Dr. Joe L. Reed. For decades, the ADC has been dedicated to saving the Black vote, educating communities, and empowering candidates to build a brighter future. Through our partnership with the ADC, we continue this important work at the local level, striving for a more inclusive and just community.
